HOUSE RULES

​

General

The guests are obliged to treat the rental object including the inventory with all due care. The guests are liable for damages to furnishings, rented rooms or the building as well as the facilities belonging to the rented rooms or the building, if and insofar as they have been culpably caused by them or their companions or visitors. The guests must immediately notify the landlord of any damage occurring in the rented rooms, insofar as they are not obliged to remedy the damage themselves. The guests shall be liable to pay compensation for any consequential damage caused by failure to notify the landlord in good time.

Waste, ashes, harmful liquids and the like must not be thrown or poured into the sinks and toilets. If blockages occur in the sewage pipes due to non-observance of these regulations, the party responsible shall bear the costs of repair.

No music is to be played from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All devices are to be set to room volume only.

​

Charging electric vehicles and using the barbecue will incur extra costs, contact us if you want to use them.

Waste seperation

Separate garbage, the different garbage bins (garage) make this easy. Sort in:

Plastic - yellow garbage can

food scraps, plants - blue garbage can

paper, cardboard - brown garbage can

residual waste - gray garbage can

 

The disposal company may leave unseparated or incorrectly separated garbage. Please use garbage bags for the yellow and gray garbage cans. Do not use garbage bags for the blue paper garbage can and the brown organic waste garbage can under any circumstances.

Guests

Day guests and additional overnight guests must be registered. Additional charges may apply.

Events

Parties and bachelor/ette parties are prohibited.

​

Pets

Animals, especially dogs, cats and the like, may only be brought along with the express permission of the landlady. Neighbors must not be disturbed by continuous barking of dogs. Dogs are not allowed on the seating furniture or in the beds. Soiling caused by the dog must be removed by the guests. Please set up feeding areas on tiled floors only. The rental to dog owners requires a valid liability insurance. You as a tenant are fully liable for all damages caused by the dog. There is a dog exercise area at the end of the street. It is forbidden to use the garden as a dog toilet.

 

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in the entire house, including shisha smoking.
Likewise, smoking is not allowed on the balcony, as ashes could damage

the polycarbonate roof.

Hygiene

Please put a piece of kitchen roll or similar in the basin when shaving, pedicure and manicure and dispose of it afterwards in the household waste.
The bedspreads are for decoration. Just put them aside or in a closet when you make the beds. Pans, sharp knives and wooden utensils do not belong in the dishwasher. Please clean them by hand.

Laundry

Use only the towels and linens provided to you. You are free to wash the towels in between. If you need more linen, you will be charged for it. Bed linen 7 €, towel 2 €, bath towel 3 €.

Environmental protection

In order to protect the environment and save energy, we ask you to follow a few tips:

  • Do not change towels daily.

  • Adjust the heating only at the heating thermostats directly on the unit.

  • Keep windows and doors closed as much as possible and air intermittently once or twice a day.

  • Dispose of garbage as described above.

  • Turn off lights that you do not need.

 

​Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is available from 3pm to 6pm. If you would like a different time, please discuss it with me. Also, please let me know your specific arrival time well in advance. Please also inform me immediately of any delays. I live 13 km away and have a short drive. Since I like to show you the house and explain some things and their use, the key handover takes place personally.
I will also come personally to the check-out. This should take place by 11 o'clock at the latest. Please let me know the exact time at the latest when you arrive. At the time of check- out, you should have already performed the activities listed below and be ready to leave.

Departure and leaving the apartment

A vacation apartment is not a hotel and it is common practice to leave it as you found it.

This means:

  • The apartment is broom clean when you leave.

  • We made the beds for you, please remove the bed sheets. This also includes the small pillows if you have used them.

  • Please put all used blankets, towels, bed linen and dish towels in the utility room.

  • Rinse the dishes you have used. It is okay if the dishwasher is still running when you check out.

    Knives, pans, wooden utensils and ashtrays do not belong in the machine.

  • Dispose of trash in the designated bins in the garage. Be sure to separate garbage when doing so.

  • Return the deposit bottles to the supermarket.

  • Dispose of the used glass. A used glass collection container is located at the supermarket in Erle.

  • Empty the refrigerator and take food back home. We appreciate it if you restock used items.

     

The costs for the final cleaning are 60 € once if the house is left broom-clean. If you do not leave the vacation home properly or if you do not follow the house rules, you may be asked to pay extra.
